You are invited to attend the Military Heritage Museum’s annual Military Careers Day taking place this April 24, from 12 noon – 4:00 PM.  Recruiters have been invited from the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard. All interested middle and high school students and their parents or guardians are invited!

General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is known for saying that “while the military may not be for everyone, the chance to explore the opportunities is something each student should have available to them”. Choosing a military career requires careful consideration and planning. We have organized our military careers day to help both students, parents and guardians learn more about the benefits and the many opportunities that a military career can offer.  Careers that can be found in many different fields including cyber-security and information technology, health science, hospitality, public safety, combat readiness, and marketing just to name a few.  We invite you to explore all the careers offered by the Military, learn about compensation and pay, and discover how the skills you learn in the Military can help prepare you for civilian employment afterward.

Recruiters will be available to meet with people who are interested in learning about career opportunities offered by the U.S. Military. The recruiters  will provide information regarding their respective Services. Students can also visit the museum and experience what it has to offer. Reservations are requested.

The Military Heritage Museum is located at  900 West Marion Avenue., Punta Gorda, Florida. There is no cost to attend this program. Every student will receive a one-day admission pass to enjoy the various exhibits, galleries, and activity areas throughout the Museum.
